Well, here's a new twist to the robo calls, they promise fake cruise trips now for listening to them....
I got the ending recorded, https://www.dropbox.com/s/uyfiuafc17...34-30.wav?dl=0. Not sure if this is even legal, they even masked their number so it couldn't be traced back. The file isn't a virus or anything, just thought to share this since it was odd/new to me and kind of intriguing how they are trying to "hook" people into listening to survey.

Anyone else gotten a call like this before? I mean where they promise rewards and such?

edit: not sure if KC is right section, just posted here since I'm in KC

I received a similar call, but not that exact call. This is a nationwide problem, and it has been going on for years. They mask themselves as a political survey organization to get around the FTC telemarketing restrictions. They're trying to get your personal information.

not that part of it, this is the first I've heard of them trying to tempt people with rewards like cruises.

hm short update to end the thread
I got a call back from them for celebration cruise line (got a local number if anyone wants to give them a shot but ugh, don't)

looking them up on google I got this site, pretty much the same story with me except I was googling them as they talked on phone plus I didn't plan on taking the offer. Still kind of intriguing to me how this works since I've never had anyone try to "sell" me something like this
