I am planning on transfering to UMKC and I am looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment and was wondering if anyone knew any apartments that were in good areas?

I have a beautiful apartment available 4 blocks from UMKC. It is sunny, private, and quiet. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a.c., a screened porch, off-street-parking, a fireplace, hardwood floors, and all appliances.I have never rented to a student. I've had lovely, professional tenants. I will not tolerate loud behavior and a dirty apartment. I want someone who will stay at least 3-4 years, not move in and out in a year. I require a deposit and $750/mon. + electric. If you are interested, please contact me at bschannuth@aol.com or call 816-835-1201. Thank you.Bonnie

My girls take music lessons at UMKC weekly, so when I am there next week I will look at the postings for something.

Is this apartment still available? My son is going to be a first year dental student in the fall and we will be looking for a place for him to live. How far are you from the dental school? Is this apartment in a house? He will be studying 24/7, not into loud parties and is very respectful. Would like to know if there are photos available? Thanks!

^It's really too early to be looking at rentals for the fall, but once the move-in date gets closer be sure to check out Craigslist. it's really the best place to find rentals, especially of the mom and pop variety.
