Kansas Governor Is Forcing Disabled People Off Medicaid | ThinkProgress
I read that this morning coming in on another website. I don't think it requires much intelligence to realize that the budget number Brownback is headed for means a LOT of services will need to be cut which will either eliminate them or put an even greater burden on the cities and counties to try to cover what the state takes away.

Our votes were cast during early voting this morning and the courthouse had a constant flow of early voters which is usually a good sign that people are ready for change.

Shouldn't all these political posts and threads be on the Politics forum?

I wouldn't think so since we are discussing how the issues will impact Kansas as a state versus national political issues. For instance, Medicaid turned to a for-profit with Medicare soon to follow if Brownback is re-elected. We are discussing the future of Kansas and I doubt those on the Political Forum care one way or another as that seems to encompass national issues. Also, no reason to further embarrass the state with what Brownback is up to.

The "politics" of Kansas is extremely important and this race in particular will have a great impact on Kansas.
