How cool. More and more is Kingsport equaling (and surpassing, as with Ulta) what Johnson City retail offers.

The building that will be in the front parking lot of Dick's is likely to be Best Buy. However I'm not sure who will be the two restaurants. However I've heard Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Red Robin's names thrown around as possible tenants. So my guess is at least one of those restaurants will be one of the two tenants.

I'd love to have a Red Robin in Kingsport! However Red Robin being a tenant is more unlikely than Olive Garden or Red Lobster. I'd say its a chance but a long shot for now.

Red Robin was supposed to be where Verizon building is now. I was told Red Robin backed out of the deal and that is when Verizon picked that location. Of course, this is all "through the grapevine."

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed! I'm pretending that they've stepped up the commercials for Red Robin because we are getting one.

If Red Robin goes into Kingsport before Knoxville I will be shocked. I will also be jealous!
