I posted sometime back that I was interested in moving to East Tenn. specifically the Knoxville or Maryville area (I would like to be a little bit more rural, yet close enough so mama can go to Starbucks and Target as those are her homes away from home). Well I booked a trip for us to come down over this weekend. I ordered tickets to Dollywood so my wife would only think it was just a family get away and not knowing the real reason I booked there was so that she could see the area. I layed out the plans for visiting certain areas while we are there. I know this is backdoored and under handed, but hey a person has got to do what he has got to do LOL.
It is my hope that she will fall in love with the area as I have, as I have traveled there quite a bit for work. My company has systems at the Alcoa WTP, Sevierville WTP, and I have been down by Chat at one of their water treatment plants as well.

I should be ashamed, but please wish me luck at my underhanded attempt.

You should be ashamed....
LOL!

Have a wonderful trip and I hope things work out in your favor!
Just be careful though, your "evil" plot could backfire....

Wow, good luck. Sounds like you really wanted to do this. Hope she ends up wanting it as bad as you.
If she likes it you're in the clear, if not boy oh boy are you in trouble. When you get to TN are you going to tell her the real reason or wait until you are ready to leave? Where do you live now? What are your interests ( hobbies , likes, dislikes )?
Enjoy your trip.

The best of luck!

I would suggest visiting the Turkey Creek shopping area. There is not only a Starbucks but a Super Target. I love both and my guess is that will seal the deal.

Hey! How do y'all think we ended up with horses? Had the hubby go to the Ky horse park at the first of May one year... by the end of the month, we had horses.

I currently live in Phoenix. I was raised in a very small town in NE Mississippi. I like the outdoors, fishing, just sittin on the proch swing listening to the world around me, golfing, spending time with the family, and working. I know it sounds nuts, but I love my job

I waited till we left to tell her. The funny thing was, she said she had an idea that was my intentions. LOL
