Hi so I'm a 28-year-old from NY/MA now living in Raleigh. My wife and I are going to be making an excursion before Bonnaroo to visit Knoxville for the first time in June. Unfortunately, our schedule doesn't allow us more than one night to spend there. We like good food and beer, urban architecture and cool little old buildings, holes in the wall, modern and revitalized areas, etc. We plan to have some dinner, wander around, have some drinks, and need an interesting area for a hotel. So what are the "must-see" things we need to visit before we have to leave?

Thanks!

Barking spider is right. Those are the best areas for you to visit. Once there I would reccomend barley's taproom in the old city, preservation pub on market square, and downtown grill and brewery in downtown on gay street. They are all great places to eat drink and be merry
