looking for a small business, possibly family owned with good references, to move my daughter and I from Johnson City, TN to Knoxville. It will be a small move, 2 bedroom condo to a 2 bedroom apartment. We are on a limited budget on this move, so price is an issue. I would like any advice or references, you can give. We are looking to move July 28-29.

AM PM Movers has always done right by me and I've used them several times. Google them for a number.

For our last move we hired Move Me Tennessee - they usually have an ad on craigslist. Licensed and insured, these guys were on time, polite, fast, and didn't scratch or break an item. Didn't smoke. Didn't take cell phone breaks. The price was very reasonable.

Easiest move we've ever made.

When we moved last, we decided to get a Uhaul and do it ourselves since we were moving just a few miles. We found ourselves overwhelmed with too-heavy furniture. We discovered that Uhaul has moving help on their web site. People who have used them rank them, so future customers can make the best decision. I can't remember who we used, but they came the next day and got us moved easily and inexpensively.
