Hello Y'all! I'm looking to relocate from Tx to Eastern Tennessee to live out my dream and buy a 5+acre small farm. I was wondering what areas that I could find a small farm house with some unrestricted land for some farm animals. (Chickens, goats, pigs, cows, horse)
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

There is a considerable amount of rural land in counties, outside of city limits, and not in HOAs that will have relatively few restrictions.

Thank you for your response, I watched a video on YouTube of a woman who had some chickens gets killed by a neighbor's dog. She complained to the police just so it wouldn't happen again and she found out she could only have four hens, no roosters. Definitely not a situation I would want to come across AFTER buying a house! 

Thanks DubbleT, Chickens are what I'm mostly interested in. I grew up with horses but I'm mainly interested in meat birds as well as egg layers. I'd like to branch off into the others for health reasons...You just never know what theyre putting in our food these days ! >=(

If either neighborhood has an HOA, you should be able to access their covenants online.
