I would love to try a Turducken for Thanksgiving this year. However, the $25-50 shipping charges are outrageous. Does anyone know if any store, butcher shop, etc in Knoxville sells these around Thanksgiving ? Thank You !

Try this place:

Coastal Connections ~ Seafood Market

Look on their list, under special orders. We have two great sources for fresh seafood, and Cajun specialties. The Shrimp Dock is the other one, but their choices can be limited at times. This is an alternative, and their stuff is fresh too.

You reminded me to pick up a Turducken.

I'm not sure of their selection for stuffings, but you could call them. And a note on the fresh seafood, they get it fresh weekly, and some things run out by the weekend. They pick up on Monday and Tuesday, and have it back by Wednesday.

All you do is ask the meat counter to d-bone your turkey, duck, and chicken for you. Here in Michigan it has cought on because of Paula Deen (plus I think it is fun to say) so we start ordering ours soon. They never charge us for this service. Good luck Happy Thanksgiving

Wow, one serving has 118 grams of fat (35 grams saturated) and 469 mgs of cholesterol. Can't eat too much of that!

Good thing it's only once a year.

Coastal Connections sometimes has it. Coastal Connections ~ Seafood Market

I'm not sure about The Shrimp Dock. I have inquired and am waiting back for a reply. The Shrimp Dock | Knoxville Fresh Seafood | Knoxville Oysters | Bearden | Farragut | Seafood Market | Seafood Boil | Platters | Fish | Knoxville Seafood | Crab | Clams

You might also try The Fresh Market. The Fresh Market - Experience the Food!

In the past, a couple of people on here have said that Food City carries it, too.

Or you can just make it!

Thanks for the leads. As far as making one, I'll pass on that one. Thanks.

That was a joke. It's labor-intensive with de-boning being a major undertaking.

Anyway, The Shrimp Dock says they are not carrying them.

Best of luck.
