My girlfriend recently moved back from Michigan to Tennessee and I'm looking to move down their with her but I cannot find a job in the Knoxville/Maryville/Alcoa area. I am a college student with 2+ years management and 4+ years sales experience from my current job, I also have a strong technical/computer related background. I am currently working towards a degree in business management.

I would want a full-time position where I can make enough to comfortably live on my own in a decent apartment in the same area. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

Congrats, and I would probably think, something along the lines of Cell phone sales, would be a good fit, and many stores to select from. T-mobile is now in the Malls, and rumors to come into town, with local stores.

I keep seeing a local ad on cable for a site called knoxvillejobs.com. Maybe you could start there.

Have you asked her if she want's you to move there?

Seriously this is an old thread, but the standard Warning is If you have a job, now, stay where you are. If you don't have a job, it doesn't get better elsewhere and you won't have any contacts.
