Hello everyone,
We are getting ready to move out to Knoxville in July, which we are very excited about
. I was told the job I am seeking will pay around $18/hr. I need to know if I will be able to support my family of three
. What end of the scale is this wage considered in Knoxville? Thank you in advance to your response.

My initial reaction is to say good, because we have a very low cost of living, especially regarding housing, taxes, electrical, and insurance, to name a few.

Electric is cheap. We have the Tennessee Valley Authority. The TVA. It's a federal electric supplier. It's about impossible to compare bills because we all have different lifestyles, stuff and homes, but my bill is a quarter of my mother's in Mass. And our bill is lower than what we had in Florida.
