Of course, I also have plenty of pictures of the Organ Mountains, but I wanted to post things that people might not have seen before.

One of my photos from the Dripping Springs Fire last month...

And a 3 shot panorama that the Sun-News shrunk down to a joke on their gallery page....

Another pano of the Organs less than a month of owning my new digital SLR (Nikon D70). Photo from 12-5-2004

Ignore the blown highlight...

Coming over from the El Paso board to share some of my Las Cruses pictures I took during my days at NMSU (Go Aggies!!).

I use to work at the Chile Pepper institute while at NMSU.

NMSU landscape garden

Nice cluster of Chinese windmill palms at the hort farm

prickly pear cactus

Palms, yuccas and mountains, gotta love sw New Mexico.

This has got to be the largest Italian cypress in the Mesilla Valley. This is just south of Las Cruses next to the NMSU's plant science research center.

I'm sure you have noticed the plant theme in my pictures, hey I got a BS in agriculture what can I say . Here is a row of Canary Island date palms.

Looks like it could be SoCal.

No sw yard is complete without the little burro pulling the wagon lawn ornament (lower left at the base of the palm). Notice the nice size Saguaro cactus.

Middle Eastern date palms landscape Walmart.

Finally, anyone who has driven through Las Cruses on I-10 has seen this place (back when it was still the HI).
