I just got back from Vegas and saw many young "designer dressed" people puffing away on cigarettes. Smoking is still popular for some reason.
A group of 6 young people I saw were also buying something from the bar that was over $40 a shot. Must be nice to have so much disposable income. lol

If you could see their insides, my bet is that they do not have young "designer dressed" lungs.

I am sure their lungs are not a healthy pink.

I just wanted to know how you defined the stereotype, that's all. I know plenty of smokers that don't have the image portrayed by the photo you posted. You may even have heard of one - he's gotten kind of famous lately.

Do I need to spell it out with a picture? Here's one I found in less than 30 seconds:

She (or he?) is probably 10 years younger than she/he looks.

Well duh. But they eventually have to light up... and do. That's the nature of smoking. You can't just stop at one!

BUT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO IT.....

ps....I am NOT a smoker...I just believe that even smokers have the right to smoke.

And I am DA$%^& tired of smug self riteous people trying to RULE the WORLD in the manner THEY see fit.

I'm totally in agreement about personal rights and self-righteous people, which is why I think non-smokers basic rights to breathe healthy air have been "ruled over" by self-righteous smokers since the invention of tobacco. They have been controlling the stinking, toxic air we breathe. There is no such thing as a "non-smoking" section because the oppressive forces of big tobacco lobbyists have ensured that businesses allow smokers to infringe upon my rights to "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" (especially that "life" part) All in the name of selling more cigarettes to the stupid. Smokers' rights end where my rights begin... just like everything else... like free speech (can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater or threaten the President), guns (can't shoot whatever/whenever/whoever you want), noise ordinances (can't have dogs barking all day), etc.

So yes, I'm in total AGREEMENT with you!

So where's the middle ground....OH wait....we had a middle ground with non-smoking sections in restaurants but the NS's couldnt stand that....and it helped businesses take a dump.

As far as non-smoking casinos...bottom line...won't happen. talley up the one's that have banged the drum and said NO SMOKING IN OUR CASINO....the drum stopped banging and they went outta business....

I talk to people ALL day long that insist I HAVE TO HAVE A NON-SMOKIN ROOM because smoke will kill me if I breath it....but they'll sit at a BJ table or a slot machine for hours on end...

People h ave a right to smoke...I have a right not to smoke....
