Hey Kona got curious about your view and opened the topic on the RE Pro list...

Is it because she is pulling a scam on me or is it because she is afraid I would steal her tenant and not pay her commission? Is this common? Thanks!
I believe as a landlord, you have the right to know about your tenants if your tenants sign an application that indicate such background check. You might want to check what kind of agreement you have with your PM. I have not had luck to find a reliable PM to manage my single property. Larger companies are usually not interested in managing a single unit. If tenants are not "nice", small landlords suffer the most, not the PM.

Too ideal, wish all PM does what they are supposed to do.
