It seems like 'Puebo Revival' is quite popular throughout the Southeast..I am quite sure that is how Santa Fe and even Tuscon are wildly popular - despite, in my opinion, Tucson have very little going for it, except the cooler-than-hell looking houses!!

Buzz, thanks for the Santa Fe photos. I have been there, and love the look of that city. Actually I love everywhere that I've encountered that style. I noticed ones like that in Tucson, and have quite a bit of color to them as well...older style like that.

Noticed in AZ & NM, some Taco Bell and other fastfood occassionally mimic that as well.

Yes, Spraynard Kruger, I agree, a shame it isn't more common in Vegas.

I, too, like modern. There are modern homes around, if you look for them. Here are pics of a few homes currently for sale that I like (now, if only they were REOs so their prices were realistic):

This is a front and back shot of a Kokopelli home from many winters ago, can't remember, somewhere between 2000 and 2003.......

@SportyandMisty........I too like the modern look, preferably mid-century modern outside and transitional inside......This fourth pic down you posted looks like those Canyon Edge Homes in Henderson on Horizon Ridge............:There still starting in the millions though ..........I love them

Nah, its in MacDonald Highlands. The Canyon Edge development went belly up about a year or 18 months ago, IIRC.

Yes. I lived there for a year and saw a lot of siding homes. Actually Lamplight Villiage reminds me a lot of the homes you see there. I never got used to the weird colors people painted their homes, bright blue, mint green and you sometimes would evev see lavendar. Most people stayed with neutral tones. I did see stucco homes but they were oftn paired with brick and stone. The stucco looked real to me. Western Wa is desert like for most of the year.

That looks like Street of Dreams. Not many of us common folk can afford those buzzillion dollar homes.

Do they build smaller houses in the styles as you have illustrated?

Huh? Western WA is a rain forest. The only rain forest in the contiguous US is located here.
