Does FQ offer temp holds? If so the agent should have offered it. Yes people will complain & make up all sorts of lies/stories to get what they want. If the customer asked me the same question over & over about availability, rates, views etc.. It always went in notes. I hated working in reservations.

TO JFK.....NOPE only in charge of room res clerks....if I was in charge of desk clerks well.....lets just say a lot of em would not be happy
Aww, well it is not your fault. I told her not to wait no matter what they say. I wouldn't have taken the chance and I was going to stay with them, but I figured that I have a home here if all else fails, so it was her thing! Definitely good advice. Today we were looking and there were openings at some of the hotels and she still didn't reserve!

Hopefully, it will all work out. One thing for sure, I have a bed! Now, to find that driver.....

I don't know anything about its quality, but the Plaza Hotel and Casino on Fremont lists rooms via Tripres.com for $44-$49 on Sun. I use tripres a lot with good results.

I wouldn't put my dawg in the Plaza Jukes.....it closes Nov 4th cause the cucarachas are taking over.....if the choice is a blanket by the dumpster or the Plaza....take the blanket.

Yeah, been there, done that. My friend had it for a free night. I can see why. Even the lobby stinks. Ok, may not be much better than a night in jail, but it definitely was cheaper! Nobody was driving that night!!!

For cheap clean no frills room downtown. Take a look at El Cortez. The only downside is that sweet perfume smell you have to endure in the casino.

Agree that Tripres.com often has some great deals

Yes, she got a decent deal on the Strip through Sema prices. Her employer has a exhibit in the show.

I never heard of Tripres, I will definitely check into that!
