Yes, I'm getting up in years and start to confuse things. I meant Chandler.

I'm not a doctor, but I've worked in medicine for some time. I'm not convinced that high cholesterol is not a sign / symptom, rather than a cause, of heart disease.

I'm not a cardiologist, but have lived with a heart problem for decades, and have learned quite a bit. I was told my heart was fine, and not long afterward had a heart attack. My dad was told the only thing he had that still worked right was his heart. He died suddenly not long after of a heart attack. Then there was my uncle who had 19 heart attacks and died of cancer. The biggest cause of coronary heart disease is genes. All my dad's brothers had heart attacks, and all my cousins have the problem. My oldest cuz is in her 80s and has had several heart attacks from blockages beginning when she was still pretty young.

But eating a large, high fat meal can trigger a heart attack. Women have smaller arteries, and for some reason coronary heart problems are harder to detect in them. I agree that most of us eat poorly, but anyone can drop dead of Sudden Death Syndrome. SDS is the leading cause of death in the world. In the U.S. alone over half a million people a year suddenly drop dead. It's an electrical deficiency. The term "heart attack" does not always mean blocked coronary arteries.

BTW: Smoking is usually thought of as being bad because it causes cancer. Smoking actually kills more people by causing heart attacks than by causing cancer.
I have been on this earth quite awhile and do know my stuff. Most of the people that suddenly drop dead of a heart attack, which is not a natural way to go, it's been building up in their arteries for awhile. Notice I said most, not all. Try reading "The China Study." That's a real eye opener.
I still will not blame The Heart Attack grill for killing people, since it was the persons choice to eat there, no one forced them. End of argument.

Heart Attack Grill spokesman dies of apparent heart attack | The Lookout - Yahoo! News

Looks like it has happened again, but this time it was the spokeperson for the restaurant. I wonder if he ate there a lot.

Wow, another one? Wasn't one of the deaths the spokeman/guy who did commercials when it was still in Phoenix?
