It happens. One year in the mid 90"s A cabbie tracked down his last fare in the Bally's pit to return 100K in cash and a winning 10K sports ticket left in his cab.

Well let me be the first to say that if anybody is stupid enough to lose $10,000 in unmarked cash and I happen to find it, they will not be getting it back. I may feel a bit guilty for a moment, but the pina coladas on Grand Cayman will make that all go away.

I'm thinking...maybe a 10% chance (1 in 10 people would have gone through the hassle that this guy did) that the cash would have been returned. Did the guy get a reward???

I would think that a very common thing would be someone finding it, thinking they could gamble a bitand keep the winnings, then return the bulk of the money. Of course, I'm sure that would not turn out well.....
