I am not talking about panda express or a chinese food place that just reheats some frozen food. Seems like most places are like that in Vegas.

Anyone know a take-out place that makes the food fresh or any place that is resonably good at least around North Las vegas.

Not sure what part of nlv your talking about but there's a little place at Hollywood and Lakemead, think its called Mandarin Express that has some pretty darn good take out and delivery. Southeast corner in the smiths shopping center.

I'm sure OP means the boondocks of NLV -- the Horse Rd. area, the shooting range at the end of Decatur. That sort of thing.

Of course Sunrise is going to have some good Chinese food, there are a ton of Chinese people who live a stone's throw off Hollywood.

China a-go-go is actually pretty good. Better than panda express, but still "typical" americanized chinese food.

That is fairly close to me, I will try that out. Thanks.

Default Chinese

Off topic a little. But I found a great Japanese place. A little south of Town Square.

The Little Dumpling at Decatur and 215 is the best of the typical take-out Chinese food places I've found in the Aliante/Centennial-Hills area thusfar. Note that only this particular Little Dumpling is decent (not sure if it's a chain, but there's another Chinese food place called "Little Dumpling" on Sky Pointe, and that one is terrible).

I don't know my way but from the strip one takes a left towards Palms and 1/4 mile down on the left next to Subway - there's a really good Vietnamese restaurant - to go named "Da Lat". Good food and beats Chinese take out any day.

I get the impression you've never had really good Chinese before. You can get good Chinese in Las Vegas. (I don't think GREAT Chinese exists in Las Vegas. But good is good enough.) Go get some dim sum over at 168 Market. (Tell the girl at the counter you want some "shoo-mai.")

That will get you started down the path of what I consider the finest cuisine Earth has yet produced.
