Not easy these days.
The entire area east of Hollywood Blvd. and south of Owens. The entire area west of Durango, between Ann and Centennial. The entire area off Blue Diamond and west of Ft. Apache. The whole area around Seven Hills and Anthem. Just about everything south of Horizon Ridge and between Green Valley and Stephanie.

Basically, Las Vegas is a bowl. Live on the rim.

If the average person can afford to live in the area, it probably wont be an area that is "really nice, very low crime and no poverty". But Scoop is right, there are lots of places that have virtually zero crime. But the homes are in the high six figures and more(Not including expensive HOA fees).

I know of one gated community in Summerlin(can't remember the name) where a couple of very small time celebrities(strip DJ, Monster truck driver, owner of over 20 apartment complexes, lawyer that has plenty of commercials on TV, etc...just to name a few) live. I posted this a couple of months back about how I was going to check out a wooden swing set that was posted on CL for my daughters. I recieved the address from the guy selling the swing set. He told me that he called in to the front gate for a temp entry pass. I approached a gated area with TWO guards. One for vehicles entering and one for exiting vehicles. One of the guards checked my ID (while looking at a list) I believe. Then he gave me back my ID and told me to proceed. Then I noticed a sign that read something to the nature of "vehicle info/tags photo and video recorded by sensor cam 24/7".

Houses were huge but what really caught my eye was an outdoor version of a McDonald's style play area(playplace) in one of the backyards of one of the homes.

My kids would have LOVED to have that. Something very close to the photo below.
