Hi, I am from out of state and I am looking for some locals to help me out. Can anyone tell me realistically how long it takes to get from Henderson to kingman? I looked on google maps and it says 1hr 33 min. I want to know if this time can be cut down without having to drive 90mph? I know here in Florida every time I mapquest directions it never takes as long as it says it will. I need to know for commute purposes if I can get it closer to an hour. Any help or info would be appreciated.

I think the difference between your points in Florida and the drive from Henderson to Kingman is that here there is only one way to get there. One road, one bridge to cross, one area where the traffic really bunches up (between boulder city and the Pat Tillman bridge over the Colorado River). I suspect that in Fla., there may be many ways to get to a place. As for commuting, I've been part of a traffic jam going from Kingman to Las Vegas in the evening which added a good half hour to my trip.

I would be going from Henderson to kingman, not sure if that would make a difference since I would think most commuters would be going opposite??
