I know Henderson quite well. The area you are talking about (Center @ Burkholder) is easily one of the worst areas in Henderson. Very low income area, the worst school in Henderson (Robert Taylor) serves this area. You can expect daily or more frequent police activity in the area.
That said, I don't think rape/mugging/robbery is a huge concern. Robbery perhaps. I just know there are ghetto thug looking people roaming the area constantly and police in the area all the time.
