If we can get mid-western burger chains here, Why, Why, Why, no White Castle? It's the only thing I miss about Ohio.

Panhandlers likely make more per hour than I do. I find that.... disturbing. But hey, that meth isn't going to pay for itself.

As for burger joints:

My backyard > StripSteak (best burger you can pay for in Las Vegas, hands down) > Burger Bar (how convenient you can get both of them at Mandalay and compare) > Holstein's > Fatburger, Sunset Ave. > Bachi Burger (yes, below Fatburger on Sunset) > All the rest of the Fatburgers> Tommy's Original* > Five Guys > Carl's Jr. (yes, really) > In-N-Out (seriously, Carl's is better than In-N-Out) > Sonic > Dog Food (Alpo) > Burger King > Week-Old Sushi > Wendy's > Dumpster juice on a hot August night > McDonald's > radioactive, toxic waste with a tall glass of Las Vegas tap water > Jack In the Box.

* Tommy's Original Chili is the food equivalent of crack cocaine. But this isn't a Chili list.

I ate at Jack in the box once. It was terrible. I threw it away.

You might be able to sleep in a homeless shelter, but they won't give you money for crack. And they don't hold their guests prisoner. They can leave if the want.

Yes, yes, yes, how I miss White Castle!!! And the prices of those White Castle boxes in the grocery stores are appalling. So! I make my own now! And so can you!

Thru trial and error, I now know you must simmer them slowly, with steam. I just made up a batch of tiny little burgers last week, and I buy a package of hot dog buns, cut them in half, and when I want a mini-burger, I just nuke a little patty and put it on a bun! Add cheese, onions, whatever! Great for snacking!

$12 for a burger! No way!

$12.00?? Come to think of it the Stations Casino buffet is only about $7-8 bucks. Now I'm officially pissed at myself.

You get what you pay for. Think of what kind of food Station needs to procure in order to turn a profit on an $8 buffet. Prison food is higher quality. (Seriously, prison food is higher quality than the cheap Las Vegas buffets. Prisoners might riot. Tourists, not so much.)
