It's the usual carrot/stick - highway funding. I'm sure that if NV thought that the additional tax revenue would be as much as or more than what they get from fed.gov, they'd do that. But...

It' not worth the consequences you may suffer if you get caught. I wouldn't do it.

Although I don't suggest attempting to get into clubs underage ... I would suggest you dress equal or better than the dress code (so no sneakers or t-shirts etc) and maybe not shave for a few days so your 'scruffiness' makes you appear a little older.

Most responses here seem a little uptight...do you have any idea how much alcohol freshman consume in college all across America on a weekly basis at 18? The entire rest of the world allows drinking in your teenage years as well. As long as it's a real ID of someone else that looks like you and it's passed before, go ahead and enjoy yourself...don't drive and make sure you can handle your alcohol.

Don't do it. Go to Disney Land. I know a person years ago who got busted with a fake ID in another state and to this day it follows him. He got popped I think in the 70's. As he is in the financial industry he has to constantly report it and explain it to regulators and companies.

You may get away with it but it's not worth it. One day you may wish to join the military.
