I once read an article in Forbes magazine about a guy in Oregon who won the Powerball jackpot. Twice.

The article talked about how the guy wanted to start a business that became a billion dollar enterprise and how he was going to use the money to help his family, etc. blah blah blah.

What the writer didn't ask and that I really wanted to hear was how the heck did this guy win the Powerball jackpot twice? What's his secret? A gazillion to one odds against him winning it once and he does it twice?

Lotteries (although, AFAIK, not that one or Megamillions), have been cracked.

Many many years ago we were coming out of a show at the Lady Luck. As we walked across the casino we heard a woman screeching for joy. We went over to see what the commotion was all about. Her husband had won, if I remember correctly, $43,000 on a dollar slot. But he had not played all coins so he did not get the jackpot which was in the low millions..........she was not happy about that!

It could be, you may have met up with people who won big, but why oh why would you broadcast it to anyone? If I won big, I wouldn't tell anyone! I don't want to hear it: "With all that money you won recently............"!

I know a dealer at Bellagio and he tells me stories of multi-million dollar losses and gains made there over the years.

Recently: Man wins $800k, he tells his wife: "Quick! Quick! Go upstairs and pack our bags, we're leaving on the next flight!"

Wife comes downstairs with the bags, and? In that timeframe, he had lost the $800k and an additional $100k!

And? She should have asked him for help in packing the bags!
