Ok I am new to Vegas sort of, Moved here November 2013 But this new place I moved into the first of this month (August) Has been a nightmare. Staring I only receive $720 a month so yea I had to find the cheapest place I could But for the first 5 days the ac didn't work .. Bugs (roaches / ants) are terrible and the place has been sprayed twice (once since I moved in) BUT the question that I am curious about is since I moved in I have yet to get a mailbox key. First they told me I had to get it from the post office .. 3 post offices later I found out that wasn't true then I called them again and they was sending a guy with one. He showed up to take pictures of the things needing fixed and had no clue about a mailbox key. This is a place that every time I talk to them (to use an old Indiana saying) My leg gets tired (from being ran around in a circle).
I signed a 6 month lease but if they get there stuff together wouldn't be a bad place. But anyway anyone know about this mailbox thing?
thank you for your time and sorry about the long post.

Are you renting from an Apartment complex or from a Management company?

If an apartment then they would provide you a key. If from a Management company then you would take the lease to the post office for your area, and then they will send someone out to re-key the box. Then you can pick the keys up from the post office in a couple of days.

Some condo complexes maintain their own postal boxes, meaning that you don't get a key from the post office. If that's the case, the landlord has to provide you the key, just keep annoying them till they give it to you.
