Hi all, I recently moved to Summerlin and was curious what the best option is for getting a group of people from our house in summerlin to the strip is? I searched for limousine services but there are so many it's hard to decipher which one to choose. I'm looking for efficicient (I.e. Cheap) as we don't need to arrive in style. What I would like is something super reliable so that we don't need to worry about having a ride back at the end of the night. It will be Halloween night and about 10 of us. Any recommendations with ballpark prices would be helpful.

On a second note, are there any shuttles or cheap ways to strip if me and my gf want to go spend a night on the strip without getting a room?

Isn't their a transfer station on the north end of Summerlin somewhere. I'd Google the RTC(D). That's how I'd plan to do it.

I've never rented a Limo, but I hear it's fairly cheap. After all, Jr. High kids rent them to go to school dances. But catching a bus in a group might be fun, as long as the bus isn't full. Think I'd go with the limo. Show a little class. After all, "It's Vegas Baby! And, I don't think which limo service you call makes any difference.

Do any of the cab companies have vans?

Is there anything in Vegas between the cab companies and limo companies?

You're issue is that it's Halloween night..limos will be booked early. Figure a couple hundred an hour for the small limo bus

Isn't there a bus that goes to the airport from Westcliff, that stops downtown and somewhere at the strip each hour? It is not in style but might work. Not sure about times coming back. Maybe it is not around any more.

Yes there is. We've parked there and used the bus a couple of times for up to two weeks. I forget what it costs, but it's cheap.

It used to be about $2 each way to the airport so may be less to the Strip. But that's not bad. The only catch is the timing and frequency, which might not be convenient. Certainly from Summerlin into town it would be more reliable than requesting a cab from there. They may not run overnight.

Any other thoughts? I talked to a guy and he quoted around $300 round trip for a van and $400 for a limo. Seems a bit much.

If you do some kind of bus thing, keep in mind you are splitting it between 10 people. I remember doing a party bus-type thing split between about 15 people and we each paid like $20. Of course don't forget the tip. Look more into it, get more quotes. It may be a little more pricey because of Halloween?
