About 4AM (and it's rained hard earlier today) I saw a greenish/yellow/greyish frog/toad very close to a condo pool off the Strip. I was shocked. I thought maybe it was someone's escaped pet but there are native frogs here?

You'd be surprised how tough they are.

They survive below zero and way over 120.

I'm surprised the filter let you use the word frog. There was a time it would have looked like this: ****.

Yup. I'm in Henderson. I backed out of my driveway and partially over one, a few years back. Didn't even notice it until I had already gotten out of the driveway and then put the car into drive. I put the car into park and my kids jumped out to have a look. I thought it was someone's pet, too.

I used to live on Wildhorse Gold Course and always saw huge frogs jumping around.

Yep, we have frogs, but not a lot of them. I had a water feature in my back yard a few years ago and we had them there.

They like to hang around the Paris, for some reason, drinking wine and looking very snootily at tourists from UK.

No idea what that's about.

Apparently there are zillions of them in The Wetlands.

Sometimes it rains frogs. Water spout sucks'em up, and then they rain down. Like in the movie Magnolia.
