That's true, you're just in the Northern Panhandle of Texas for a little while, but keep in mind he has to drop all the way down from NJ.

What part of WV are you from jacklivesalone? I'm originally from Clarksburg. And, it true, although I've been here since 1964, you can take the boy out of Clarksburg, but you can't take Clarksburg out of the boy.

Actually, I just pulled it up on Google maps to see how much longer it would take to go 40 instead of 70 or 80, and it is actually faster from where he is.. I know, surprised me, too..

Interesting. But I see it. In that case I'd go the I-40 route. Except for the Rockies west of Denver, I think it's the more scenic route.

You know that if they moved West Virginia a few miles east, the northern panhandle would border on Brooklyn, NY.
