I'll start off with saying I went to Vegas this past summer for the first time over the legal drinking age and fell in love . I don't gamble but just the atmosphere of the strip and casinos , the food and the sights and sounds left me speechless , I am considering moving there someday soon .

Which leads me to my first question , talking to a few locals there and seeing it first hand vegas is changing and has been changing , would you agree with the statement that the generations that just gambled all day and night are slowly being phased out ? A few locals told me this and I agree , vegas is all about young people 20-30s they want to day drink all day at a pool with beautiful woman and listen to electronic dance music , and people say Vegas could start tailoring the strip and New hotels towards the new era of Vegas entertainment .

Also last time I was there just started construction in the new world resort , what's the update on that ?

And what else is going on construction wise in the area ? Any other new projects or resorts comming ?

The convention center is about to expand. Resort world is supposed to be going now (Haven't been by it in a few months to see) and there's another project supposedly starting just south of resort world.

Shopping and atmosphere seem to be the in thing here. Gambling is down.

All of us old farts retire here and don't go to the casinos much. We used to vacation here every year or two and we have been living here since the end of Oct 2014.

Have not been to a casino to gamble yet.

OP you are around 10-15 years dated on your observations.

You don't need to recreate the wheel.

People who are going to chide others on their writing would do well to write perfectly.

Based on my observations of those who are 10-to-15-years old, the OP is likely older. But then again, there's no need to reinvent the wheel.

Unless you somehow have a lot of money the average job in Vegas isn't even close to enough to hang out at pools with beautiful women. Big difference between living here and saving all year to vacation here!

Don't confuse a Vegas vacation experience with a Vegas resident experience. Most of us only go to the Strip when friends and family visit. Unless, of course, one works there (and those folks hate Vegas, lol).

My post was poorly written. When we vacationed here we gambled all the time.

And I'd wager (heh, heh) those people you know who gamble all the time are sitting in front of a slot machine.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
