Does anyone know where I can read police reports online for North Las Vegas? Or how can I find out why they were in my community last night/today?
When the CSI van is out with police tape surrounding a place, does it mean someone died? Just curious. And because it was too close to home, I just want to know why there were there.

Ok, so I found out that someone on my street died accidentally yesterday..but the powers that be, (HOA) won't tell us who, what or why. Since i don't know the other neighbors too well, watching the obits might not help much.

Pink - I think the report on the incident is a public record. Hit your local precinct and ask.

Worse they can do is say no..

try this: Crime Search Map Disclaimer I didn't look it over much, but try it. Seems very general, but try e-mailing them, and see what you get.

Thanks jim and sheriff. I appreciate it. It'll keep on bugging me if I can't find out and drive me nuts.

If you are having difficulty finding info - It may be because there WAS a death - maybe they do not let out any details about such incidents right away?

If so, sorry. I hope it wasn't anyone you know.

Did the HOA assess a fine for accidentally dying?

Well now you gave me a huge laugh. Best one all day. Good ol HOA communist police. If you dig deep enough I am certain you will find that infraction some place in those 1645 pages of the rule book.

1000 REPS for that one.
