Only Sun City Anthem. You still have Anthem Highlands, Anthem Country Club, Seven Hills, and a few new neighborhoods in the extreme south end of Anthem

we toured anthem, particularly KB Homes and Lennar (I think?) last time we were there. I liked the area, it just seemed to take forever to get there. I guess that was 89044, the southern-most part.

Another thing, the executive airport that Volunteer runs alongside, is that widely used and what for?

As far as I know, it is not an extremely busy airport, and it is all private or corporate aircraft. I'm not 100% sure on that, though.

Anthem Country Club is not restricted by age, which is where this house is. Sun City Anthem is age restricted, which is next to it (where I live). Anthem Highlands is another area right in that vicinity that is not age restricted and has foreclosures for sale.

There is no way in hades the bank will sell the property in the Country Club area for that 60K price. Every neighbor on the block would have tried to buy it.

One does has to be careful in 89052 because Sun City is age restricted, so you have to stay out of its boundaries if you have kids under 18 yoa.

In case you are interested, there have been stories on the news this week about foreclosure bus tours that only go to the more decent properties:

Again, watch where you go in the zipcode, 89044 contains some of Sun City Anthem, as well as the newer non age restricted area. Make sure when you talk to a realtor and give 89052 or 89044 that you qualify that you have kids and are not looking in the age restricted areas.

the airport is for private planes and they generally come from the wester side over volunteer so if you are looking at Inspirada, take that into consideration. Volunteer goes right into Sun City Anthem at the top, which is age restricted, however off to the left is some non age restricted neighborhoods.
