Well I guess people who work as a Dental Assistant in Las Vegas really can't make a decent living. The pay does get higher as you gain more experience though. I even read here Dental Assistants that people who work as a Dental Assistant in Nevada don't even need to be licensed.

Sort of. It's guarded and the people I've dropped off there love it.

And you keep referencing 2 people making 30,000 as if there will be a 2nd person living with you. So how are you going to make $12.00 an hour, and your roommate $100 a week?

I'm confused. You want to move to a city where:

1) You have no idea what the job you seek pays
2) No idea what apartments rent for or if they are in a good area
3) No idea about transportation
4) No idea cost of living

What could possibly go wrong?

I do have some idea of how much the job pays but different sites say different things. So it's hard to say which one is accurate. I could actually call around and find out the actual pay though.

And what about not knowing anything about the area to which you are moving?

I've been doing research and I know some areas that are safe to live in. I've only been to Las Vegas once and I stayed at the Westgate Hotel.
