Im glad to see some ban in place, but I doubt it will actually be enforced. I guess if you have a neighbor feeding them you can recording them doing so.

I think my HOA doesnt allow bird seed feeders which is a good thing.
Video evidence is always best but, numerous complaints from the same area over and over again will surely get you a result.

I've never witnessed that but OMG that is atrocious. I almost want to think that that is a form of vandalism, as in I'm mad at guy and I'm going to put sugar in his gas tank or put a bag of seed down.
In my own experience pigeons don't go after that, too much work, plenty of handouts to be had.

Definately think this will be a case where photo/video documentation will pay off for the person reporting...would advise getting a few weeks worth so it is obvious that its an ongoing problem.
Agreed. Some of these guys are hiding in their backyard feeding pigeons which would be hard to document but there are people who blatantly just throw seeds in the street, and apparently parking lots. There's a guy around the corner from me who feeds these things every gosh-darn day, actually makes it a hazard . 200 birds in the road while I am supposed to be watching out for school children.

Every Monday morning, after work at 6am, I go to La Bonita to buy Produce/meat, and I always buy 3-4 big cookies, from the bakery, I leave the store, stomp on the cookies until they're thoroughly crushed, then open the bag and fling it all into the air for the pigeons in the parking lot. I'll just be more careful next time, I'll strew them under the car, then drive off!

Catch me if you can!

Why would you do that?

When pigeon populations get out of control, the local government steps in, or HOA, or the private businesses, and start a poisoning program, which could kill your ferret a lot faster than a pigeon if he ever gets ahold of the bait. You are doing them no favors. They are smart enough to take care of themselves and should not be eating cookies anyway. Read up on what they use to poison pidgeons. It is not pretty.
