We have decided we want a second refrigerator in the garage. I figure if I can find one at an estate sale I can save some money.

The problem is I am no longer young enough, strong enough, dumb enough to try it myself. And I don't know anyone that I would feel comfortable asking to help.

Anyone know where I can find help that combined with a used refrigerator won't cost more than a new refrigerator?

Hire some illegals from outside home depot. There's also some on craigslist say they'll deliver.

I just paid a local mover $80 cash to move an item I bought on Craigslist. DM me if you want the contact info. I was happy with them.

If they get hurt they'll probably try to sue you.

Some of those used fridges have freon leaks and used appliance dealers have jerry-rigged with a shot of freon that only lasts about 3-6 months. I used to take my handyman with me if I shopped at those places (he could tell from the freon line if they had been messed with). I don’t know how to check this — maybe utube has somethng on how to check out a used fridge.

I have rental properties and always found my best used appliances from private sellers and then I’d arrange my own moving of the item.

If you're getting a NEW fridge, the delivery folks will move the old one for you.
