I'm not a local but Tropicana Cinema was a good place to catch a second run movie. Tickets are $2 or $3 depending on the time.

Are there ANY theaters that DON'T have reserved seating in the west valley? I hate those places. If for some reason you want to move to a different seat because of whatever, you can't.

These days Tropicana cinema stinks worse than a dog kennel not cleaned in the last six months. Avoid that theater.

Forgot to mention that the meatballs at Pizza Rock are also the best I've had. Definitely worth checking out if you're into meatballs.

My friend from NYC says this pizza is the best in Vegas. He gets the regular crust, pepperoni, and extra cheese. And they are not expensive. https://cafeverdipizzeria.menufy.com/#/

I'm a fan of Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, which of course is very different from NYC style pizza. You can't compare them - they are in essence different foods altogether. If you're at all interested, try Giordano's.

With respect to movie theaters, I'm a fan of the theater inside South Point. https://southpointcasino.com/entertainment/movies
