I was involved in an auto accident at an intersection, I claimed, I had the green arrow to turn left, the vehicle that hit me, stated he had the green light to go straight, when I asked the officer that the cameras installed at the intersections are in place will determine who's at fault, he told me to hire an atty. to get a subpeona, isn't that what the cameras are for?, to catch people running lights?

Far too often, people assume the actuating device for the traffic signals are surveilance cameras. The actuating device is used to distribute "green" time more efficiently through the intersection. It is more probable than not that what you saw was the actuating device for the traffic signal. In which case there is no storage of any images.

I thought they were already in place. I could be wrong tho. I don't deal with traffic affairs.

your response was maybe warranted, unlike you, I don't spend my life on this forum, I'm trying to get information since I was given a citation from Las Vegas finest, for something I wasn't guilty of doing, I'm a single Mom, don't have the whim to hire an attorney to be at my beckoning call.
