OMG, you mean the city that was built by gangsters is no longer a safe place? Who would ever think? I bet Bugsy Siegel would roll over in his grave if he could see what his city has become.

Have you ever actually been to Vegas? Do you actually know anything about it?

Yes, I have been to Vegas and I have lived in Nevada. I don't think this would come as a surprise to anyone who lives there.

Is this really any different than anywhere else? Certain criminal elements feel like they can do anything to anybody anytime they please because few people get convicted of anything these days.

It is a sad indictment on what our society has turned into -- a lawless cesspool where's it's every person for themself, and it applies to a lot more places than Las Vegas.

Since The Strip generates so much of Vegas's economy, the impression, at least, was that Metro made an extra effort to keep crime suppressed there. If they're no longer doing that, because of political fallout from the BLM riots, that's a major negative change.
