Very interesting location, but I guess there is only so much street level retail space.

I like Whataburger and really wish they were starting in the suburbs and working their way to the strip. But at least that's better than not having one at all. I guess the old Bobby's Burgers spot isn't horrible since I'm at T-Mobile all the time.

I've only been to Whataburger once, but based on that one experience I have to agree with you. Both the burgers and fries were awful.

Didn't know they were typically open 24/7 though.

When were they ever in Las Vegas? I don't ever recall them getting past Arizona.

And while they may not be everyone's favorite I'm all for regular chains with reasonable prices. The pricing for food on the Strip is goddamn insane and not enough people are protesting it.

From what I have heard long time locals say, it was in the 70s & 80s. So it's been a minute.

The strip is where it belongs, it's typical greasy drunk food, but the prices won't likely be resonable. Like buying familiar chain's food in an airport, the prices are inflated.

Maybe it will be more than the typical location but they won't double their prices. In N Out is about a $1 per meal above regular price on the Strip, about what I'd expect. White Castle is a little more than normal but still maybe $2 more. Both are still cheaper than Shake Shack which is made out to be this cheap option. After paying $18 for a combo there I really had to challenge that notion. Or try the $23 combo at Crack Shack and think that's at the low end of meals on the Strip and it's obvious there is a problem. The Bobby's Burger Shack was closer to $25 so no wonder the place never had a chance.
