Boundaries Map: Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, unincorporated
Not a lot of street detail, but a general picture of the "cities" in the Las Vegas valley.
Does someone have a better compact map that clearly shows city boundaries?

Summerlin South and Arden are in unincorporated Clark County. Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson are cities.

Gets even more complicated if you want to get into it. There are a couple of levels of towns and towns include parts of the city though only the parts outside the city are managed by the County.

Because the residents there wanted to be in the City like they wanted an STD. They were long established in that area and had been building walls to keep the city out since 1978. The City could not penetrate but went around them.
It was actually interesting...that battle has been mostly lost in the SW where they did not get organized quick enough and around Racel Buffalo where the developers managed to cut it up into little chunks. There should have been a very nice hole around Floyd Lamb Park. There are lots of others around if you look.
It used to be a war as the developers got property annexed to the city and then got a zoning change. A local agreement has pretty much stopped that so there is no longer any pressure.
