If the incentives are like water district incentives they are too low. To replace our grass, very small area 386 sq ft, the district offers $1.50 per sq ft while the cost is $7.00 plus per sq ft.

Ironic how here in Germany which get's about 10% sunlight a year (ok maybe being a little over zealous), there being edge to edge panels on most houses. When i get my house in LV I plan on putting one in (this year or next)...eventually. Those guys are expensive.

Interesting. Tell us about how the economics run on your installation.
I have looked a couple of times but it keeps coming out a 10 or 12 year pay back even with tax incentives.

Ran their calculator...All I need is $110,000. Do get $30K in rebates etc. But it still suggests that I make $100 per month or $1200 per year on the $80,000 investment. Gonna be a long time breaking even at that rate - 75 months or 6 years. And that includes no maintenance expense.
Needs another factor of two it sounds like.
