Mt. Charleston, Red Rock, Calico Basin, Valley of Fire. Grand Canyon is 4 hours away, save that for another trip. Laughlin is about 100 miles away. You could leave early, see the Dam on the way. All the nice hotels have pools. Kid will probably be bored w/ Hoover Dam but go anyways.
There is a little wild west town near Calico Basin/Blue Diamond that you will all enjoy but especially your child. April is a nice time of year to visit; not too hot yet.

Thanks! I also forgot to ask. Is there such a thing as babysitting services at the hotel in case my wife and I want to go out for a few hours at night? Rates if anyone knows?

The Orleans (maybe Suncoast, not entirely sure), most of the Station Casinos, and the MGM (if they didnt get rid of it) basically offer a kids care situation with a jungle gym and arcade and snacks...

There is a little wild west town near Calico Basin/Blue Diamond that you will all enjoy but especially your child. April is a nice time of year to visit; not too hot yet.
