safe area?
Hi everyone...
Looking at sharing a house at 215/Rainbow Rd...
a) is this a good/safe area? is there anything to be worried about aside from regular city precautions.....have enough to worry about, dont want to worry about getting robbed, constant noise, or drug issues...Thanks in advance!

Not sure what your priorites might be. How well do you know your potential roommie? If you're not sure you can trust their opinion, probably not a good idea regardless of location.
Of the items you mentiond, noise may be the biggest problem. But, even then, you would be best served by parking in the neighborhood at various times of the day or night to check out the noise. Its not a bad area, but that kind of commitment deserves some personal research.

I would point out that there are two 215 and Rainbows...I presume he means the southern one.
I would think that reasonble suburban area if not too close to the freeway.
89118 gets a little tough but only over toward 15 and the strip.

I used to work over by 215/Rainbow for a period of over 6 months...There's lots of traffic, but other than that, it is very quiet in and around the neighborhoods...There's a police substation at Rainbow/Windmill so there may be noise from that, but it can also be a pro...

Thanks OC........yes, I believe it is the southern one, on the west side.......yeah, I'd assume 89118 is more east towards the strip, which is probably a bit shaky just as due-east of the strip is right next to it seems to be............Sent you a DM as well..
Thanks,
Mike
