Hi guys. We are planning a wedding for next June and are looking into maybe a wedding at a golf course/country club. It looks like there will be around 70-80 people total. I have been to a wedding on a course out here before and really liked it. I was just wondering if any of you guys had any good/bad experiences out here with a golf course wedding. Would love to hear some stories and maybe see what places are reccomended.
Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't the ace be saved for the wedding night?

My buddy had a wedding at Paiute Gold Course and it was great. It was about the same size are you need.

My sister and brother-in-law had their reception at Revere Anthem and it was very nice, however their ceremony was at a church.

Both were pretty pricey though (I would think).

I've seen one ceremony at Wildhorse in Henderson and a few at my club which is Silverstone. In the case of Silverstone, they hold some ceremonies just outside the clubhouse and a few on a tee box that overlooks a pond.

Definately shop around because all the courses are hurting right now even though the ceremony is a year away.

BTW, congrats on your upcoming nuptials.

Keep in mind it could be unbearably hot in June. We went to a wedding at a golf course in Phoenix this past May - the first weekend in May, and it was over 100. Guests were uncomfortably hot, melting in their dress clothes. But it was pretty...

I know you can check out the food and beverage prices for the Anthem Country club on line. Somehow I came across that and was just blown away. Were you thinking of the wedding only being at the golf coarse and the reception in another location?

A friend of mine had her reception at Angel Park. They had a very romantic wedding on her front porch because her fiancee' used to walk her home from school in 7th grade, and years later after each being married they got back together. They like playing the course so they had the reception there. The whole thing was beautiful.

I have nothing to add, but i think a Vegas golf course idea sounds really pretty and the guests can all enjoy the Strip before and after. Party!
