How is the weather out there? Usually in November it's freezing in Chicago and we've had 70 degree weather all weekend!

Can anyone give some "fashion" advice on what to pack? Jeans? Sweaters? Short sleeves? Long sleeves?!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

50's and sunny will be wonderful. Chicagoans are easy to please. Especially when we're on a mini-vacation!

I always find it works best to dress in layers or pack things that can be layered. Many times the hotels and casinos are colder inside than it is outside or vice versa.

I'd pack a parka, stilts, swim flippers, a pith helmet, lederhosen, soccer cleats, driving gloves, rubber bands, and one good kilt.

and don't forget rubber boots. In case it rains...you need to protect your shoes.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. YOUR Chicago type winter clothes would be way too warm in Las Vegas except maybe the coldest night in January. Just layer up. Coming from Chicago it might feel like shorts weather to you here in Vegas, but you'll be most comfortable in jeans and long sleeved t-shirts during the day, with maybe a light jacket sometimes. When the sun goes down you'll want to add a sweater or light jacket, and if you are out late, put on both over your T. If you are going clubbing I don't think you have to get too fancy, but usual eveningwear is appropriate and warm enough. Here's the weather forcast for the next ten days. It will be mild, and to you it will probably seem warm. Besides, you'll probably be indoors most of the time if you're here for the casinos and shows. Oh, skip that. Showrooms tend to be over airconditioned and cold even in the summer. But they don't seem to reset the thermostats in the winter.

If you're going to be outdoors it's nice to know that it's not supposed to be windy, and it will seem like a Chicago summer...without the humidity...or the wind. But just in case, you know you're going to buy a souvenir sweatshirt.
