If you have been for a non-immigrant Visa interview in Toronto only, I have some questions:
Did you drive or take the subway?
If you drove, where did you park?
How long were you there?
I will be coming from Richmond Hill for a 9:30 am appointment and am concerned about traffic and what time to leave to get there on time, and if I'm early will they let me in the building? I know they are very concerned with security at the consulate.
Any other tips?
Thanks!

Park your car at the Finch TTC subway station and take the Yonge street line to the Yonge and Dundas station, go up to street level and walk 3 blocks west on Dundas, turn left ( south ) and walk two blocks to University and Armoury street. The US Consulate is directly across the street on the west side of University. The entrance is at the REAR of the building.
The front doors are all ways locked as a security measure. Note the armoured concrete block house beside the main entrance , that houses the armed security force.
Be prepared to wait, outside, until the doors are opened... then wait inside. Each person will be given a number card, that controls the order in which you will be dealt with.
