Quakertown is not considered the LV, but I'll speak to it. We live at the very southern end of Lehigh county, so I go to Quakertown often. Quakertown is a nice old town. There are some nice restaurants, brew pubs, churches, great parks and a library. The downtown has been spruced up and there's an old school farmers market. Jewish, it is not. Not sure where the nearest synagogue is and I would say there is more of an evangelical Christian lean.

I'm not necessarily looking for a Jewish neighborhood, or a town that is in the immediate Lehigh Valley area. Just looking for a place that is a reasonable driving distance from a synagogue or any area that has a significant Jewish presence.

When I do searches based on my criteria, I get directed Quakertown, Doylestown (yes, I know that's closer Philly), etc.

West Park, Allentown a close cluster of places of worship.
You can find Congregation sons of Israel, Temple Beth El, Chabad Lubavitch of Lehigh Valley and Congregation Keneseth Israel
in close vicinity to one another.

Separately you can find
Beit Simcha in Wescosville , Congregation Brith Sholom in Hanover and Beth el Gibor Messianic Synagogue in Bethlehem.

Best Wishes.

Very helpful-- but
I will just state the obvious- a Messianic Synagogue is not what anyone seeking info about synagogues is asking for. I realize most non Jews would not know this, which is why I am sharing that.

Doylestown and Quakertown are two very different places. You are much more likely to find a community fit in Doylestown. It is also a lovely town with lots of charm. Quakertown is the place you drive through on the way to somewhere else.

Without getting into the merits of Doylestown versus Quakertown on other metrics, the Doylestown area has a Jewish community that is on the smaller side of medium for the Philadelphia Area but is just as prominent as West Allentown and South Whitehall Township in terms of raw percentages (around 10% people in Jewish households). Of course, Doylestown does not have the same concentration of Jewish institutions as the 18104 zip code because much more prominent Jewish communities (which themselves are secondary by Philadelphia area standards) are fairly close by, such as Yardley/Lower Makefield and the Council Rock School District. But there are a couple of synagogues fairly close by in Warrington and Furlong. There is also a Chabad center in Doylestown Borough.

Quakertown’s Jewish population is very small. Macungie is more Jewish than Quakertown.

Messianic Judaism is antithetical to the tenets of mainstream Judaism. I’m not saying you meant any harm, but just so you know for the future, they are not the same thing and are not to be conflated with one another. If someone follows Messianic Judaism, they will usually make that painstakingly clear. Anyone who views Jesus Christ as their lord and savior is not Jewish by any other measure.

Dear Elijah,
I understand your intentions.
Thankyou.
