I really like these areas. Not the best school district, not to most convenient location, but a lot of character and uniqueness.

If anybody (especially CraigCreek) knows some of the history of these places, has any good memories, etc, please share

Nice video! It really showcases the beauty of these lesser-known but lovely neighborhoods.

I grew up on the other side of town so can't contribute much more, but I appreciate your considering me a go-to person for background!

Many of the lovely, large older houses in this area were architect-designed, and this well-maintained area has held its value well, though its properties tend to be bargains because of their northside location. The large yards, flowering shrubs, mature trees, and often curving roads add to the beauty and charm of the older parts of Deepwood.

I do have some friends who live in this neighborhood, and they've enjoyed it for many years.

Thanks for documenting Deepwood!

I know some people that have lived in Kinston for 30 years and love it. The live at the edge of the neighborhood, there neighbors on one side are a horse farm.
