I watch Bobby Flay quite often in the food competitions, mainly because he's hot! LOL!! I notice he often times wins. I haven't been to Bobby's burgers and I don't know of any other one of his restaurants in Suffolk. Is there one in the Hamptons or better yet the North Fork? Is his food as good as it's rated on Food Network?

Actually the Lake grove (Smithhaven Mall) is his only burger joint in NY. The rest are in NJ and CT. The burgers are pretty good. Everything is ala carte and they have good milkshakes and you can buy beer.

We did catch him at a book signing there...it was a zoo with like 1000 people, but he was really nice and talked to us for like 20 seconds. I think he lives in Sag Harbor.

Had them once when it opened. They were very good but it was very disorganized. Hoping it has become more organized as I would like to go back.

Ding ding ding! Also the burgers at First National Franks in Medford are pretty good, as are the fries.

I went to the burger palace in the mall one day, I'll never go again. The burger was small and sub-par and prices were high.

Of course he's going to be nice -- he's trying to sell books. My HS friend worked on production for a Bobby Flay show (bbq?) a few years back and he said BF is a bit of an arse.

He bough property in Amagansett, and is currently involved in a lawsuit related to it.

Maybe it's just the JFK JetBlue terminal location but I thought it was only about average. They were very slow and seem to mess up every other order somehow.

I was there once and surprised at how sub-par it was. I've talked to a few others who have been there since and they were really disappointed. I am shocked that he would put his name on this place and not take the time and effort to make sure it is worthy of such.
