Unless you have a insert in your fireplace your wasting heated air by using it. Fireplaces with no inserts are only efficient when you are not using your boiler or furnace to heat your house.

I deal with Fire Island Fuel and they're great. They work late and do COD. 631-772-1482. They did a delivery for me the sunday after christmas. I did alot of price checking and they were one of the lowest I found.

Knock on wood, we have had no issues with this...we've also called for service issues and even one last Monday and Tuesday, with the blizzard, and they came within their time window...so sorry to hear this!

126 gallons. I think I have a 250g tank. Not bad for the month...I think.

Residential tanks are either 275 or 550 gallon capacity

I got my oil delivery finally 3 days into going to the gas station and getting diesel fuel. Not happy with General AT ALL... getting a new company as soon as my contract is up in two months.

Im with Slomins and so far they kick ass. Everything thats needed is on their website. I can order oil, schedule a service call, pay my bill etc. all from my laptop. I love it.
